  1. Monopoly may not be good. Esp. in the current political situation. Congress bounced back from two big blunders earlier, no reason why they may not be able to learn their lessons again.

    1. The country needs a credible opposition. Yes, they have bounced back but this time they face multiple crisis- baggage of the past, leadership, credibility and corruption. Moreover if they continue with the dynasty they are going nowhere and if they discard the dynasty they will disintegrate. That's the biggest dilemma.

  2. The Congress is a party in denial. With no credible leadership and an heir apparent who spends more time abroad than in the country, I have little hopes in their resurrection.

    1. Hopes are dim, true. But the country needs a credible opposition, something more than a Janata Dal khichdi.

  3. Pity,a party which has been in the drivers seat for over 100 yrs isn't able to find its own seat anywhere today.
Journos like Rajdeep can not and must not be taken seriously ..I boycotted Ibn and now Headlines Today because of him.
We can give any advice to congress, which in any case won't work for them.
Rahul is not reluctant politicians...he is incapable..Gandhis don't have their nose to the ground ..They take pride in announcing hair cut in Spain.

    1. Mr. Chowla, amazing how the tone and tenor of CNN has changed after Rajdeep left. They now keep showing Nita Ambani at her various functions. But people are not fools, they can see through the media games.

  4. I shudder to see what Congress is doing. It is a clueless ship that has completely lost is compass. Its spokespeople are delusional and it is pathetic to see them holding on to the dream of Rahul and Priyanka. But it is also true that a democracy needs a vibrant opposition. Let's wait and watch.
